WHO IS SIAN HAILEY?

Kia ora, I’m Sian Hailey Ledingham (she/her), an aspiring Art Director studying Creative Media Production at COCA Massey University, Wellington. I have always found my life revolving around all things creative and artistic, leading me to the vast medium that is film-making. Combining my love for art, music and storytelling is something that ties deeply into my personal kaupapa. As a queer kid that grew up in Christchurch, surrounded by tragedy and recovery, I have a strong sense of compassion, community, and a desire to raise other’s voices to be heard. I am heavily inspired by powerful femme, queer, BIPOC storytelling that tells the stories of those who need a voice. My creative mission is to help bring meaningful and exciting stories to life with beautiful, unconventional and enchanting visuals and build the worlds that need to exist for these stories to be told.
